Description

The Silvolite 3455H.040 is a set of six hypereutectic aluminum pistons designed with a dish style and four valve reliefs. These pistons feature a 4.040 inch bore and 1.5mm, 1.5mm, 3.0mm ring grooves. The wrist pin is included, with a press-fit style and a 0.927 inch diameter.

These pistons utilize an aluminum alloy high in silicon for increased strength, scuff resistance, and seizure resistance. They offer improved groove wear and resist cracking in high-temperature crown areas. The Silvolite pistons also feature reinforced top lands and diamond-finished skirts.
