Hyper Street II Rear Coilover Conversion Kit

The Rev9 Hyper Street II coilover kit transforms the rear suspension of the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 (RWD models, 2003-2008) from a divorced spring setup to a true coilover system. This allows for independent height adjustment at the rear, offering better suspension geometry control when lowered. The kit features mono-tube shocks for improved oil and gas capacity, providing 32 levels of damping adjustment from soft to firm. Each coilover incorporates stiffer springs than factory, with rates of 14kg for the front and 12kg for the rear. Ride height is adjusted by turning the lower shock body, independently of spring preload, which preserves suspension travel at any chosen height. The achievable drop ranges from approximately 1 inch to a maximum of 3 inches from the stock ride height. It is important to note that factory ride height cannot be replicated with this kit, as it is designed exclusively for lowering the vehicle. Installation of this true rear coilover system requires the use of rear bucket delete toe arms, which are a mandatory companion purchase and sold separately. These arms replace the factory toe arm that integrates the spring bucket. Without them, the rear suspension cannot be properly installed. Additionally, the kit does not include front or rear top mounts; these must be transferred from the original factory struts and shocks during installation. A professional wheel alignment is required after installation to ensure proper suspension geometry and prevent uneven tire wear. This coilover kit is specifically designed for Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z models and 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe (V35) and 2003-2006 G35 Sedan (V35) models. It is explicitly stated that this kit does not fit AWD G35X models due to their different rear suspension configuration.
