The Keith Black KB189-030 pistons are precision-crafted components designed to enhance the performance of Ford SB V8 Windsor engines. Constructed from durable hypereutectic aluminum, these pistons feature a "dish" style with a D-shaped cup, optimized for specific compression ratios depending on the combustion chamber volume (55-10.1, 60-9.7, 64-9.3, 68-8.9). These pistons are engineered with a 4.030-inch bore and a 4.075-inch stroke, suitable for building a 416 cubic inch (416W) engine. The pin bores are CNC machined for accuracy, and they come equipped with triple spiral lock rings. The ring groove dimensions are 5/64 in., 5/64 in., and 3/16 in., ensuring proper sealing and performance. Piston rings are not included with this set and must be purchased separately.
