Description

The Speed-Pro H273CP pistons are engineered for a balance of performance and value, making them suitable for high-performance street, bracket, and oval track racing applications. Manufactured from a hypereutectic aluminum alloy with 16% silicon, these pistons offer enhanced strength and wear resistance. They are produced using permanent-mold technology for precise fit and tight bore clearances. Key specifications include a 4.000 in. bore, 2.870 in. stroke, and 5.090 in. rod length. The pistons feature a flat top with four valve reliefs, a compression height of 1.605 in., and a piston head volume of +8.00cc. The wrist pin style is press-fit or floating with a 0.912 in. diameter pin. The included piston ring thickness is 5/64 in. x 5/64 in. x 3/16 in. The DurOshield coated skirt provides friction reduction and improved durability.
