The Eagle Specialty Products EAGFSI6125O is a set of FSI I-Beam connecting rods, engineered for naturally-aspirated competition applications. These rods are forged from AISI/ASME certified 4340 steel, featuring a multi-stage heat treatment process to significantly increase strength and durability. The surface is fully shot-peened to improve fatigue resistance, while the beam is machined for precision. Designed with exact tolerances, each set is weight-matched for balanced engine performance. The connecting rods utilize ARP 8740 capscrew rod bolts, known for their proven reliability in high-stress environments, and include ARP Ultra-Torque Assembly lube for consistent bolt preload. A silicon-bronze pin bushing is incorporated to support full-floating piston pins, and a pin end oiling hole is included to ensure proper piston pin lubrication. The big-end is CNC machined for consistent sizing. Eagle Specialty Products emphasizes quality control, with all rods undergoing rigorous inspection, including sonic testing, magna-fluxing, and X-ray analysis, to ensure they meet the demands of high-performance applications. These connecting rods are recommended for competition use.
