The Eagle Specialty Products SIR5400FB I-beam connecting rods are constructed from durable 5140 steel, offering enhanced strength and reliability for your engine build. These rods are engineered with a precise 5.400 inch center-to-center length and feature a 0.927 inch pin size, making them suitable for various performance applications. Designed as an upgrade from Original Equipment (OE) rods, the SIR5400FB connecting rods boast a shot-peened surface for improved fatigue resistance and are held to exact tolerances during manufacturing. They come equipped with robust 3/8" ARP 8740 bolts, ensuring secure assembly and performance under stress. For optimal installation, it is recommended to torque these rods to 40 ft-lbs using ARP moly lube only.
