Description

Manufactured from 4340 high tensile steel, these I-beam connecting rods feature a tapered pin end for compatibility with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material with a radial groove for oil reservoir and are designed for excellent resistance to wear and fatigue.

These connecting rods undergo multiple stages of treatment, including shot peening to relieve stress and multi-stage heat treatment for increased rigidity. The production process maintains tight tolerances for perfect fitment and optimized oil clearances, with bend and twist tightly controlled. They include ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000psi, with an optional ARP L19 material upgrade available.
