They feature ARP 8740 cap screw-style rod bolts, alignment sleeves for precise cap location, and silicone bronze pin bushings. These rods are sized using the Sunnen Kross grinding system and are weight-matched to +/- 1 gram.

Eagle Specialty Products FSI I-beam connecting rods are constructed from forged 4340 steel, designed for durability in modified pump-gas racing engines. Each rod measures 5.700 inches center-to-center and features an I-beam construction for strength and rigidity. These connecting rods are equipped with 7/16 inch ARP 8740 chromoly steel cap screw-style rod bolts, which have a tensile strength of 180,000 psi. They also include alignment sleeves for precise cap location and silicone bronze pin bushings. The sizing is performed using the Sunnen Kross grinding system, and the set is weight-matched to within +/- 1 gram, ensuring consistency in your engine build. Each rod has a big end bore diameter of 2.2250 inches, a big end width of 0.940 inches, and a pin end bore diameter of 0.927 inches. The wrist pin style is floating, and the connecting rod journal diameter is 2.100 inches. These rods are not clearanced for stroker applications. The set is magnafluxed for quality assurance.
