IAG-Spec Oil Pickup

The IAG Performance Stage 2.5 FA20 DIT Closed Deck Short Block is a high-performance engine build starting with new Subaru FA 2.0L engine case halves. These are meticulously machined for enhanced oiling and then converted into a solid deck using IAG's unique CLOSED Deck Inserts, which incorporate small passages for necessary coolant flow to the deck surface. Further precision machining includes Deck Plate boring and honing to 86.25mm using a Sunnen SV-30 hone, allowing for tighter piston-to-wall clearances for a quieter running engine. The short block is assembled with a new 2015-18 Subaru 2.0L WRX crankshaft, balanced and blueprinted, and matched with King XPG main bearings. Connecting the components are Brian Crower H-Beam rods secured by ARP2000 rod bolts, paired with King or ACL XPG rod bearings. Assembly is completed with new OEM case bolts and sealant. The short block is finished with IAG-Spec 86.25mm forged pistons, a ring set, and .150″ x 2.250″ Chromoly wrist pins. An OEM oil plug is preinstalled at the oil pan location. This short block has a power output rating of 675 BHP and a compression ratio of 10.6:1 with standard gasket thickness. It is designed for 2015-2019 Subaru WRX models and is available in-house only.
