The GEP Tuned IAT Sensor Relocation Kit is designed to improve the accuracy of intake air temperature data reported to the ECU on 5.0L V8 Hyundai and Genesis models. By relocating the sensor, the system provides more precise temperature readings, which helps the engine maintain efficient fuel consumption and consistent performance in both stock and modified configurations. The kit includes an ACDelco IAT temperature sensor and a GEP Tuned custom 39-inch plug-and-play wiring harness. It is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including the Hyundai Genesis 5.0, Genesis 5.0 R-Spec, Hyundai Equus 5.0, Kia K900 5.0, Genesis G80 5.0, and Genesis G90 5.0, including 2015 and newer models. Installation requires removing the factory MAP sensor connector at the intake manifold to plug in the new harness. The sensor itself must be installed by drilling a hole into your existing intake airbox or intake piping. This product includes a one-year limited warranty covering product malfunctions, though it does not cover damages caused by user error or improper installation.
