ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune.Like all ICON'S Shock Absorbers, V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are 100 Percent rebuildable and 100 Percent revalveable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20 Percent of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) valves are included for precisely dialing in your suspension performance.CDXS controls fluid flow under compression, with independent adjustability of high speed and low speed compression force. 10 discreet detented settings for both low and high-speed adjustment knobs allow separate adjustments for handling response and overall aggressiveness.Features and Benefits:ICON CDXS equipped for independent adjustability of high speed and low speed compression force for handling response and aggressivenessOne-piece, hard anodized, impact extruded aluminum cylinders offer excellent corrosion resistance and consistent finishICON's internal InchBump Zone Inch increases damping by 20 Percent to provide more control as the shock approaches full compressionPiggyback reservoir design improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged usePremium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent suspension damping along a wide temperature rangeNitrogen charged monotube design with piggyback reservoirOne piece digressive piston design with vehicle specific valving for unsurpassed performance and ride quality on and off-road7/8 Inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaftPTFE lined spherical bearings and application specific mounting hardware6061 aircraft grade aluminum CNC machined components100 Percent Rebuildable100 Percent RevalveableDetailsActive Or Passive Suspension: PassiveAdjustable: YesAdjustable Compression: YesAdjustable Damping: YesAdjustable Rebound: NoBoot Included: NoBore Diameter: 2.25Cylinder Color: GreyCylinder Diameter: 2.5Cylinder Material: AluminumDamping Adjustment Type: Dual Speed/ManualDamping Type: OilExternal Reservoir: YesGas Charged: YesGrade Type: PerformanceLower Mount Type: EyeletMounting Hardware Included: YesReservoir Type: PiggybackService Parts: 191016 - 7.5 Inch Finned Resi Upgrade Kit, 254100G - 1 Gallon Icon Performance Shock Oil, 252011 - 2.5 Piggyback/Remote Resi/Bypass Rebuild Kit, 257341S - 7/8 Shaft 15.25 Oal, 11.00 Travel Short, 252002 - Universal Spanner Wrench (2.0/2.5/3.0), 252003 - Seal Install Tool 2.5/3.0, 252001 - 2.5 Fixed Spanner WrenchShaft Diameter: 0.875Shaft Material: ChromeShock Absorber Body End Measuring Point: Center Of EyletShock Absorber Rod End Measuring Point: Center Of EyletTube Outside Diameter: 2.5Upper Mount Type: EyeletValving Type: Digressive
