They offer improved on and off-road ride quality and performance, with hard-anodized 6061 aluminum cylinders, increased wall thickness, and taller DU bearings for improved pull-apart and side load strength. They feature a press-in, bonded rubber upper bushing/bar pin assembly for factory-like fitment and reduced road vibration, and a forged aluminum lower mounting clevis for maximum strength. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation. These shocks are 100% rebuildable and revalveable.
