ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Series shocks are engineered to provide exceptional off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. They are application-specific in terms of length and damping tune. These shocks are 100% rebuildable and revalveable. The remote reservoir design enhances heat dissipation, reducing shock fade during extended use. Key features include premium grade 5WT shock oil, a nitrogen-charged monotube design, a one-piece digressive piston with vehicle-specific valving, a 7/8 inch induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft, PTFE lined spherical bearings, and application-specific mounting hardware. Components are CNC machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, and the shock body is made from CAD plated, precision-machined 1026 DOM steel for durability and corrosion resistance.
