The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 217704EP 2.5 Series Piggyback Reservoir Shocks with Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) are designed for enhanced off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. These shocks feature a 2.5-inch 6061 aluminum body for increased oil capacity and heat dissipation, a 7/8-inch chrome shaft, and vehicle-specific valving. The CDEV allows for electronic adjustment of compression damping, reacting in less than 40ms to varying terrain. The system works with ICON Intelligent Control (IIC, sold separately, part number 213500) and a proprietary ICON mobile app, utilizing onboard G-force and gyroscope sensors for active damping adjustments. The shocks also incorporate an internal "Bump Zone" for an additional 20% damping force at full compression.
