The ICON 218550DJ is a tubular upper control arm kit designed to enhance the performance of 2009-2023 Dodge/Ram 1500 trucks. These control arms are constructed from CNC bent 1026 DOM steel tubing and finished with a semi-gloss black powder coat for superior strength and corrosion resistance. They feature built-in caster correction for optimal alignment and improved handling. A key feature is ICON's patented Delta Joint, a heavy-duty, high-angle ball joint that offers the durability of a traditional ball joint with the high-performance articulation of a uniball. The Delta Joint is designed with a zinc-plated housing, a tough grease seal, metal-on-metal construction, and a greaseable design to ensure longevity and quiet operation, even in daily driving conditions. When paired with ICON 2.5 series coilovers, these control arms enable increased wheel travel, leading to superior off-road performance and ride quality. Additional features include serviceable dual-stage bushings and CNC machined bushing housings and sleeves. Note: Fitment for 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500 could not be fully validated due to research limitations. The exclusion "Not for vehicles with rear factory air ride" could not be fully applied as specific submodels with this feature were not identified due to research limitations.
