The ICON XD Forged Tie Rods address the strength limitations of the factory Bronco steering tie rods, especially for off-road enthusiasts using larger tires. These tie rods feature better materials and beefier dimensions than stock units. The inner tie rod and ball stud are CNC machined from 4140 chromoly. The adjustment threads are 18mm, compared to 14mm on stock Bronco tie rods. The outer tie rod is forged steel with the same bend as stock tie rods, ensuring compatibility with all factory wheel diameters and offsets, as well as most aftermarket wheels. The tie rod end is a metal-on-metal joint that is greaseable for extended service life and offers the same range of operating angle as stock tie rod ends.
