ID1050-XDS Fuel Injector

The Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS is a high-performance, motorsport-spec fuel injector, representing the latest evolution of the ID1000 and a key addition to the X-Series line. Developed through a collaboration between Injector Dynamics and Bosch Motorsport, it incorporates advancements learned from the ID1300x and ID1700x models. This injector is not a modified production part but is purpose-built to optimize critical operating parameters for motorsport tuners. This injector offers several enhancements over its predecessor, the ID1000. Its internals are constructed with corrosion-resistant materials, ensuring compatibility with all known fuels and extended service life, even with aggressive substances. The compact body design facilitates fitment in over 200 applications, including both current and future engines that utilize short-body injectors. An improved internal flow path provides a 5% increase in output without compromising low-flow performance, while a more robust magnetic circuit ensures stable operation at pressures up to 10 bar. Additionally, a replaceable inlet filter contributes to a longer service life. Basic specifications for the ID1050-XDS include a nominal flow rate of 1065cc/min at 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi) using gasoline at 52°C (125°F), a maximum differential fuel pressure of 10.0 Bar (145.0 psi), and a USCAR electrical connector. It is compatible with all known fuels. It is crucial to note that all applications marked with an asterisk in the fitment guide are incompatible with stock ECUs due to scaling limitations.
