ID1050-XDS Fuel Injector

The Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS fuel injector represents an evolution of the ID1050x, engineered to provide superior performance and reliability for high-performance engines. It features a compact body design, enabling compatibility with over 200 applications, including many current and future engines that use short-body injectors. This injector is built to spec for motorsport tuning, optimizing critical operating parameters for tuners. A key innovation in the ID1050-XDS is its Dual Slope Matching technology. This advanced method ensures precise flow rate matching in both linear and nonlinear operating ranges, resulting in significantly better cylinder-to-cylinder consistency, especially at low pulse widths. The internal components are corrosion-resistant, making the injector compatible with all known fuels and capable of extended service life even with aggressive fuel types. With a nominal flow rate of 1065cc/min at 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi) using gasoline at 52 degrees C (125 degrees F), the ID1050-XDS can handle demanding fuel delivery needs. It is designed for stable operation up to a maximum differential fuel pressure of 10.0 Bar (145.0 psi), supported by a stronger magnetic circuit. The inclusion of a replaceable inlet filter also contributes to its longevity and ease of maintenance. The ID1050-XDS utilizes a USCAR electrical connector. Injector Dynamics injectors are flow-matched in sets, and if a single injector is needed to replace one from an existing set, direct contact with their support is recommended.
