This X-Series injector is a direct result of the collaboration between Injector Dynamics and Bosch Motorsport, incorporating the advanced engineering principles learned from the development of the ID1300x and ID1700x models. Engineered specifically for motorsport applications, the ID1050x is not a modified production part but a purpose-built component designed to optimize critical operating parameters for tuners. Its internal design features corrosion-resistant materials, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of fuels and extending service life even with aggressive fuel types. The injector's compact body design allows for fitment in over 200 applications, accommodating both current and future engine designs that utilize short-body injectors. Performance enhancements include an improved internal flow path that delivers a 5% increase in output while maintaining precise low-flow control. A robust magnetic circuit provides stable operation at pressures up to 10 bar (145 psi), and a replaceable inlet filter contributes to overall longevity. The ID1050x offers a nominal flow rate of 1065cc/min at 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi) using gasoline at 52°C (125°F) and utilizes a USCAR electrical connector.
