Installation is straightforward, typically taking 10-15 minutes, and requires no drilling or modifications if you already have an iE intake system. It comes with pre-threaded mounting points and includes stainless steel bolts and washers for a hassle-free setup. This lid is a direct upgrade specifically for Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake Kits and is not compatible with intakes from other brands. It is designed for use with MQB 2.0T and 1.8T engines found in various Audi and Volkswagen models, including the Audi S3 (8V), Audi A3 (8V), VW Golf R (MK7/MK7.5), VW GTI (MK7/MK7.5), VW GLI (MK7/MK7.5), VW Alltrak (MK7), and VW Golf (MK7). It is important to note that VW Arteon models (2019-2022) require a washer filler neck relocation and the iE Turbo Inlet Pipe upgrade (sold separately) for compatibility with this intake lid.
