IE POWERlink V4 Flash Tool

The Integrated Engineering IE POWERlink V4 Tune Cable is a direct-port ECU tuning tool that allows for the quick upload of performance tunes. This listing is for the flash tool only; performance tunes are sold separately. The device connects via OBD2 and can be used with a supported Apple or Android mobile app for wireless flashing, or with a Windows 10 or newer laptop using the IE Flash Wizard Software for data logging, reading/writing codes, and flashing software tunes. Mobile flashing support is not available for VW MK5 or MK6 generation 2.0T or 2.5L engines (including 3C, B6, 8P, 8U, and 5N chassis). These specific ECUs require a Windows 10+ laptop for tuning. Users can enjoy features such as uploading IE performance tunes, a customizable live gauge display via mobile, octane and feature switching (platform dependent), and the ability to return to stock programming at any time. It also allows for reading and clearing diagnostic codes and emissions monitors. Important notes include that the mobile flashing app is not compatible with older V3 serial number POWERlinks. Additionally, existing POWERlink V4 owners may need to update their dongle firmware to enable Bluetooth mobile flashing. The wireless flashing technology is patent protected (US 12,112,159).
