The Perma-Tune SC010 is an ignition coil designed to replace the stock unit. It is intended for use with all Perma-Tune ignition boxes.

This oil-filled coil features a period-correct appearance and is universal for all first-generation Perma-Tune products. It has primary resistance specifications of 0.4 to 0.6 ohms and secondary resistance of 650 to 790 ohms.

The Perma-Tune SC010 ignition coil is engineered as a direct replacement for your vehicle's original ignition coil, designed to work seamlessly with all Perma-Tune ignition boxes. This oil-filled coil not only aims to restore original performance but also features a period-correct aesthetic, making it a suitable complement to classic automotive setups. This coil is specified for use with Permatune/Plasma Tronics Capacitive Discharge Units. Its technical specifications include a primary resistance range of 0.4 to 0.6 ohms and a secondary resistance range of 650 to 790 ohms, ensuring it meets precise operational requirements for reliable ignition. The SC010 is compatible with various Porsche 911 models from 1969 to 1989, including Base, Carrera, E, S, SC, T, and Turbo variants. It is also specified for the 1970-1972 Porsche 914 Base and 6-cylinder models. When replacing ignition components on these vehicles, it is recommended to also consider replacing related parts such as distributor caps, rotors, ignition wires, and spark plugs simultaneously to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
