The APR Upgraded Ignition Coils are engineered as a direct plug-and-play replacement for your vehicle's factory coils. This enhancement can lead to a smoother idle, sharper throttle response, and more reliable performance, especially under demanding conditions. These coils feature increased copper winding diameter with reduced resistance and a larger, stronger neodymium magnet. The direct plug-and-play design means installation is straightforward, without the need for modifications. The unique red housing with an APR logo also adds a distinct visual upgrade under the hood. It's important to note that while these coils are designed for a wide range of Audi, Volkswagen, Lamborghini, and Porsche models from approximately 2004 onwards, specific fitment should always be confirmed using the vehicle selector. Certain models, such as the Volkswagen 337/20AE, Golf IV, Jetta IV, and New Beetle, require a 2.0T conversion plate for proper installation. Additionally, specific Audi C7 A6 models require confirmation of the gen2 EA888 engine and are limited to the 2015 model year.
