The Motorcraft DG508 is a direct ignition coil engineered as a replacement part for a wide range of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles. It is constructed with an epoxy internal coil construction and a black exterior, featuring a female socket for coil wire attachment and male blade terminals for electrical connection. With a 12V operating voltage, this coil pack offers a primary resistance of 0.660 ohms and a secondary resistance of 6.1K ohms, capable of producing a maximum voltage of 26,000 V and a turns ratio of 61:1. This ignition coil is sold as a set of 8, ensuring that all coils are replaced for optimal engine performance. The product has undergone rigorous testing under extreme vehicle and environmental conditions to ensure reliability and compliance with engine performance standards, fuel economy, and emissions regulations. Important compatibility notes: This ignition coil is specifically designed for 2-valve engines only.
