The NP Boosted D585 ignition coil conversion kit is a performance-oriented upgrade designed to enhance ignition output for Mazda RX8 vehicles. The all-in-one kit includes four D585 coil packs, a plug-and-play adapter harness, aluminum mounting brackets, and a set of 10mm high-performance ignition wires.

This system allows for a direct installation in the factory location without requiring modifications to the original wiring harness. The kit also includes a set of four NGK Laser Iridium spark plugs.

The NP Boosted D585 ignition coil conversion kit addresses common ignition weaknesses in the rotary engine by adapting high-output D585 GM-style coils for the Mazda RX8. By utilizing the included aluminum bracket assembly, the coils mount directly into the stock RX8 location for a clean, secure fit. Each kit features a plug-and-play adapter harness specifically designed for 2004-2011 Mazda RX8 models, ensuring installation can be completed without cutting or splicing the factory wiring. The package includes four high-performance 10mm ignition wires (lengths: 23" x 2 and 21.5" x 2) and four NGK Laser Iridium spark plugs (two RE7C-L 9700 and two RE9B-T 6701). This conversion is intended to meet or exceed OEM performance standards and includes a 1-year warranty. Please note that this kit is designed specifically for the RX8 and provides a comprehensive, all-in-one solution for rotary ignition upgrades.
