The N75 Motorsports LR3-SS is a high-performance ignition coil pack set developed for 1.6T Smartstream engines, specifically supporting 2021+ Elantra N Line and Kona N Line models, along with applicable Kia variants. Each set includes four coil packs featuring low-resistance springs. Installation on Smartstream engines requires significant precision and patience. To ensure the spring correctly contacts the spark plug, the coil must be pressed down at a perfect 180-degree angle to the valve cover before the 10mm bolt is tightened. Improper installation can lead to spring collapse or immediate engine misfires; as such, poorly installed units are not covered under warranty. The coil boot is designed with a watertight seal that sits atop the valve cover rather than wrapping around it. Following a design update on July 13, 2024, the internal springs were shortened by 3mm to assist with installation alignment. These coil packs are available in red or black finishes and are backed by a 3-year warranty for the original buyer.
