Ignition Coils

The 034Motorsport Ignition Coils are engineered as a higher output, direct plug-and-play upgrade from your OE ignition coils. These coils offer improved heat dissipation thanks to their integrated CNC-machined heat sinks, ensuring optimal performance even under demanding conditions. These high-output ignition coils provide a 10% increase in energy output over stock coils, making them ideal for both stock and modified vehicles seeking to maximize power. The CNC-machined heat sinks efficiently transfer excess heat away from the coil, further enhancing performance and longevity. For 6-cylinder applications, specifically the B9/B9.5 EA839 3.0T and 2.9TT engines, an important consideration is the factory engine harness's position, which can reduce airflow over the ignition coils. To address this, the 'Pack of 6' option includes Billet Aluminum harness bracket spacers. These spacers raise the harness off the coils, creating proper space between the wiring harness and the heat sinks for improved airflow without straining the wiring. Harness bracket spacers are not required for 4, 5, or 8-cylinder applications such as the 4M.5, 4M8, C8, and D5 4.0TT engines.
