How it works: The LT-DIS utilizes modern hall effect crank and cam position sensors to determine engine position, generating LS-based 24x crank and 1x cam signals. A precision-engineered sensing unit, which installs in place of the Optispark, contains a crank-mounted 24x reluctor and a 1x cam reluctor. The system precisely converts these signals in real-time to the high and low resolution "OPTIspark" signals your factory PCM expects. It then receives the ignition signal from the PCM and distributes spark command to individual coil packs via a plug-and-play harness, ensuring improved ignition energy and reliability.
The LT-DIS offers advanced features, including Bluetooth connectivity and a mobile app for continuous monitoring of system data, ignition parameters, and diagnostics. A built-in logic analyzer allows for viewing and monitoring important signals without additional tools. The base kit includes the LT-DIS Sensing Unit (with sensors and main brain), Keyed Crank Hub with reluctor, Crank Sensor alignment tool and shims, System Harness, Power Module, Dash Module, and mounting hardware.
