The DynaTek Dyna S Ignition System is a complete, self-contained electronic ignition engineered with state-of-the-art components. This system, favored by racers for decades, replaces your points with a magnetic rotor that works with the original spark advancer, preserving the factory ignition timing curve. The Dyna S is a reliable and time-tested solution for the ignition requirements of vintage motorcycles. This system requires a minimum 3-ohm ignition coil for proper operation. It comes complete with all necessary components, installation instructions, and a one-year manufacturer warranty. **Important Fitment Notes:** This DS3-2 ignition system does NOT fit the "KD" (Kokusan Denso) type advancer. To ensure compatibility, remove the points cover and check the advancer for an "ND" (Nippondenso) stamp. If your advancer is stamped "KD," you will need the DS3-1 ignition system. Additionally, a mechanical advancer must be installed on any model that did not originally come with a points-type ignition system.
