The Pertronix Ignitor 1262 is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed to replace mechanical breaker points in Motorcraft distributors. It features a Hall Effect integrated circuit triggered by rotating cobalt magnets, eliminating points that can burn and moving parts that wear out. The module is epoxy-molded for resistance to dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, providing stable, adjustment-free timing.
