Description

The Pertronix Ignitor is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed for original Autolite IGT Series 8-cylinder, single-point distributors. This 12-volt negative ground system is typically found in 1937-1950 Packard vehicles.

It delivers twice the voltage to the spark plugs, enhancing horsepower, fuel economy, and extending spark plug life. The system also offers a 2:1 improvement over traditional "points" in current fall time for increased coil output.
