Ignitor Conversion Kit

The Pertronix 2842 is an Ignitor electronic ignition conversion kit designed for Bosch 4-cylinder distributors with 12-volt negative ground systems. It replaces points and condensers with a self-contained, maintenance-free electronic system.

This kit offers a 2:1 improvement in current fall time over points, leading to increased coil output. Its epoxy molding makes it impervious to dirt, oil, and moisture, ensuring reliable operation. The Ignitor provides stable, fixed timing and is ideal for restorations where maintaining a stock look is desired, as it bolts directly into the original distributor.
