Ignitor Conversion Kit

The Pertronix HO-181 is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed for Holley distributors in 8-cylinder applications. It replaces traditional points with a maintenance-free electronic system.

This kit delivers twice the voltage to the spark plugs, enhancing horsepower, fuel economy, and spark plug life. It features a 2:1 improvement in current fall time over points for increased coil output. The unit uses rotating cobalt magnets to trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit, eliminating points that can burn or wear out. Its epoxy molding protects against dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, ensuring stable, adjustment-free timing.
