Description

The Pertronix 1244A Ignitor is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed to replace mechanical breaker points. It utilizes rotating cobalt magnets to trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit, eliminating the need for points that can burn or wear out. The module is epoxy-molded to resist dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, ensuring stable, fixed timing without adjustments. This performance-grade ignition component operates on a 12-volt negative ground system and features two 20-gauge ring terminals.
