The Pertronix Ignitor is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed for 6-volt positive ground Ford 4-cylinder engines. It replaces original mechanical breaker points, offering a maintenance-free and reliable alternative. This kit fits into the original distributor, preserving the stock appearance under the hood.

The Ignitor uses rotating cobalt magnets to trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit, eliminating points that can burn or wear out. Its epoxy molding protects the module from dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, ensuring stable timing without adjustments. It is compatible with Motorcraft distributors and requires a 1.5-ohm coil.
