Description

The Pertronix Ignitor II is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed for Autolite/Prestolite distributors with 6-cylinder engines. It features adaptive dwell control that maintains peak energy throughout the RPM range, reducing misfires and improving performance. The kit develops significantly more energy and plug voltage at higher RPMs and compensates for electronic delay by adjusting spark timing.

Installation is straightforward, as the unit bolts into the existing distributor in place of the points assembly. It requires a 12-volt negative ground system and is legal in all 50 states and Canada with C.A.R.B. E.O. #D-57-22.
