Description

The Pertronix Ignitor LU-146M is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed for Lucas DKY4A distributors with suffixes A-D and 4-cylinder engines. It operates on a 12-volt negative ground system and features magnetic and Hall Effect trigger types.

This kit offers a 2:1 improvement in current fall time over traditional points, leading to increased coil output. Its epoxy molding makes it resistant to dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, while the fixed timing requires no adjustments. It is ideal for restorations, maintaining a stock appearance under the hood without the need for an additional ignition box.
