The Pertronix ML-161 Ignitor is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed for Mallory 23/24, YD, and YL Series 6-cylinder distributors. It replaces original mechanical breaker points to improve ignition system reliability and performance.

This kit delivers twice the voltage to the spark plugs for increased horsepower, fuel economy, and spark plug life. It features a rotating cobalt magnet trigger with a Hall Effect integrated circuit, eliminating points that can burn and moving parts that wear out. The module is epoxy-molded for protection against dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, ensuring stable, adjustment-free timing.
