The PerTronix 2561N6 Ignitor converts Prestolite 6-cylinder distributors with single points and a 6-volt negative ground system to an electronic ignition. It delivers twice the voltage to the spark plugs, increasing horsepower, fuel economy, and spark plug life. The system features rotating cobalt magnets that trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit, eliminating points and moving parts for enhanced durability and stable timing. Epoxy molding protects the module from dirt, oil, grease, and moisture. This kit is designed for a wide range of automotive, marine, industrial, and agriculture applications, fitting into original distributors to maintain a stock appearance without requiring an additional ignition box. It is legal in all 50 states and Canada (C.A.R.B. E.O. #D-57-22).
