Description

The Pertronix Ignitor is an electronic ignition conversion kit designed for Autolite/Prestolite distributors with 6 cylinders. This 12-volt positive ground system replaces mechanical breaker points with a maintenance-free electronic trigger.

The Ignitor module features a Hall Effect integrated circuit that is impervious to dirt, oil, and moisture. It delivers a more accurate trigger signal, improving timing accuracy and preventing points bounce at higher RPM. This results in a hotter spark and improved performance.
