Description

The Subaru IHI VF38 is an OEM twin-scroll turbocharger, originally found on JDM Subaru Legacy GT, GT-B, Liberty GT, and GT STi models equipped with the 2.0L EJ20X engine. This unit, with approximately 60,000 miles, is noted for its twin-scroll design and a titanium turbine and shaft, contributing to rapid spool-up. It is a direct-fit replacement for 2005-2009 Legacy GT and 2008-2011 Forester XT models. To integrate this twin-scroll turbocharger into a USDM Legacy, a compatible twin-scroll exhaust manifold, up-pipe, and downpipe are mandatory. Buyers are responsible for verifying fitment prior to purchase. A tune may be required post-installation to optimize performance and ensure proper operation.
