The AirDog II-4G A6SABC409 is an advanced air/fuel separation system engineered to enhance the performance and longevity of 2001-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax diesel engines. This system actively removes water, vapor, particulates, and entrained air from your diesel fuel, ensuring cleaner fuel delivery to the engine. Its innovative design utilizes a dual-feed Gerotor pump and a low-amperage motor, which contributes to its efficiency, endurance, and remarkably quiet operation, making it one of the quietest fuel systems in the diesel market. The AirDog II-4G features a preset pressure of 8 PSI and a flow rate of 165 GPH, making it suitable for engines producing between 500 and 800 horsepower. By maintaining correct injection timing, eliminating spray pattern disruption, and allowing for a full power stroke and complete burn, this system directly improves throttle response, leads to a smoother idle and acceleration, and can increase fuel economy, power output, and torque output. It also helps overcome power loss experienced at higher altitudes and contributes to longer injector life and reduced exhaust emissions. Constructed with an intermediate pump shaft that separates the electric motor from the fuel, the AirDog II-4G mitigates potential issues from damaged seals.
