IMS 2.2" Monotube Shock

The Dobinsons IMS 2.2″ Monotube Shock Absorbers are engineered for off-road enthusiasts and overlanders who demand durability, stability, and consistent ride control in demanding conditions. Built with a heavy-duty 56mm monotube body and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design, these shocks efficiently manage heat and maintain reliable damping across various driving scenarios, from highways to challenging trails. Key features of the IMS shocks include a 2.2″ (56mm) shock body for increased oil volume and cooling, a monotube IFP design that separates oil and gas for consistent damping, and a high-flow CNC-machined race piston (50mm or 60mm) for superior performance. Additionally, these shocks are EDP-coated for corrosion resistance and long-term durability, and feature engineered damping tuned for comfort, control, and off-road capability. The IMS59-50940 is designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement, simplifying installation.
