IMS 2.2" Monotube Shock Absorber

The Dobinsons IMS 2.2″ Monotube Shocks are engineered for serious off-roaders and overlanders seeking maximum performance and durability. These shocks feature a 2.2″ (56mm) heavy-duty shock body and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design, built to handle extreme conditions while maintaining consistent damping and comfort. Key features include a high-flow CNC-machined race piston (50mm or 60mm), a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band to reduce friction, and a 3mm thick DOM body tubing honed to tight tolerances. The shocks are EDP-coated for corrosion resistance and are fully rebuildable and re-valvable. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia, these shocks are built to withstand harsh conditions worldwide, from the Australian outback to Russian winters. They provide a significant increase in performance over original equipment, addressing shock fade and the inability of stock shocks to cope with additional weight and demanding terrain. The IMS shock absorbers feature larger bodies, larger bores, and increased valving performance to dramatically improve vehicle handling and control. These shocks are a direct, bolt-on replacement for easy fitment. They are designed for the Nissan Frontier D41 2022+ models for 0-3″ of lift, and also for Nissan Frontier and Navara D23 NP300 2014+ models with a coil spring rear end and 3″ of lift.
