The Dobinsons IMS 2.2″ Monotube Shocks are designed for serious off-roaders and overlanders seeking enhanced performance and durability. This shock absorber features a robust 2.2″ (56mm) heavy-duty shock body, which increases oil volume and improves cooling efficiency for consistent performance under demanding conditions. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design effectively separates oil and gas, ensuring reliable damping and resistance to fade, whether navigating washboard trails, towing, or general highway driving. A carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band minimizes friction and extends the shock's lifespan. The 3mm thick DOM body tubing is honed to tight tolerances for exceptional strength. An EDP coating provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The engineered damping characteristics are specifically tuned to balance comfort, control, and off-road capability.
