IMS 2.6" Front Strut

The Dobinsons IMS 2.6″ Monotube Shocks are high-performance suspension components designed for serious off-roaders and overlanders. Engineered for maximum performance and durability, these front struts feature a substantial 2.6″ (66mm) heavy-duty shock body coupled with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design. This configuration effectively separates oil and gas, ensuring consistent damping performance and enhanced comfort across a variety of terrains and conditions, from washboard trails to highway cruising. These struts are built to withstand extreme use, featuring a 3mm thick DOM body tubing honed to tight tolerances for superior strength. The high-flow CNC-machined race piston, available in 50mm or 60mm, contributes to superior performance. Durability is further enhanced by a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band that reduces friction and extends component life. For longevity and protection against the elements, the struts are EDP-coated for corrosion resistance. Designed, developed, and rigorously tested in Australia by Dobinsons' in-house suspension engineers, these shocks are built to perform in the world's harshest environments. The product is a direct, bolt-on replacement, facilitating an easy installation process and can be used with original or aftermarket coils.
