The Dobinsons 2.6" IMS Monotube Strut is a front shock absorber designed for off-road and overlanding use. It features a heavy-duty 2.6" (66mm) shock body and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design for consistent damping.

The strut is fully re-buildable and re-valvable, offering zero shock fade even with a full load. It is a direct, bolt-on replacement for easy installation and features EDP coating for corrosion resistance.

The Dobinsons 2.6″ IMS Monotube Struts are engineered for serious off-roaders and overlanders seeking maximum performance and durability. These front shock absorbers feature a heavy-duty 2.6″ (66mm) shock body and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design, ensuring consistent damping and comfort across a wide range of conditions. Whether navigating washboard trails, towing heavy loads, or cruising on the highway, these struts deliver smooth control, fade resistance, and long-lasting reliability. Constructed with premium components, the IMS struts boast a high-flow CNC-machined race piston (50mm or 60mm) for superior performance, and a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band to reduce friction and extend lifespan. The 3mm thick DOM body tubing is honed to tight tolerances for strength, while the adjustable spring seat is crafted from T6 6061 aluminum. These struts are designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement for straightforward installation. They are fully re-buildable and re-valvable, allowing for customization and extended service life. The IFP monotube design effectively separates oil and gas, preventing aeration and maintaining consistent damping performance even under extreme stress. This engineering ensures zero shock fade in all terrains, even with a full load, providing confidence and control when it matters most.
