IMS 2.6" Monotube Shock

Dobinsons IMS 2.6″ Monotube Shocks are engineered for serious off-roaders and overlanders seeking maximum performance and durability. These shocks feature a 2.6″ (66mm) heavy-duty shock body for increased oil volume and cooling efficiency, coupled with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design that separates oil and gas for consistent damping. Whether tackling washboard trails, towing heavy loads, or cruising the highway, the IMS shocks deliver smooth control, fade resistance, and long-lasting reliability. Key features include a high-flow CNC-machined race piston (50mm or 60mm bore) for superior performance, a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band to reduce friction and extend life, and 3mm thick DOM body tubing honed to tight tolerances. The shock body is EDP-coated for corrosion resistance and long-term durability, with engineered damping tuned for comfort, control, and off-road capability. These shocks are fully re-buildable and re-valvable, with a heavy-duty 3-stage FKM HNBR sealing system for ultimate reliability. Designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement, the IMS59-60682 shocks are intended for off-road use. They are specifically noted as rear shocks for Toyota Land Cruisers (80 Series 1990-1997, 100 Series 1998-2007, 200 Series) and Lexus LX models (LX450 1990-97, LX470 1998-2007), suitable for 0-3" of lift.
