The Dobinsons IMS 2.6″ Monotube Shock is engineered for serious off-roaders and overlanders. It features a heavy-duty 2.6″ (66mm) shock body and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design for consistent damping and comfort under extreme conditions. This shock delivers smooth control, fade resistance, and durability whether on washboard trails, towing, or highway cruising.

Key features include a high-flow CNC-machined race piston, a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band for reduced friction, and 3mm thick DOM body tubing honed to tight tolerances.

The Dobinsons IMS 2.6″ Monotube Shock absorber is engineered for demanding off-road and overlanding applications, providing enhanced performance and durability. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia, these shocks are built to withstand extreme conditions, from harsh desert heat to extreme cold, offering a significant upgrade over standard equipment. The construction features a robust 2.6″ (66mm) heavy-duty shock body for increased oil volume and improved cooling efficiency. Its monotube IFP design effectively separates oil and gas to ensure consistent damping performance. The shock utilizes a high-flow CNC-machined race piston (50mm or 60mm) with a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band, reducing friction and extending the lifespan of the unit. The 3mm thick DOM body tubing is honed for strength, complemented by an adjustable spring seat crafted from T6 6061 aluminum. This shock absorber is specifically designed for the rear of 2022+ Toyota Tundra models. It is a long travel shock that requires a 2″ bump stop extension and extended brake lines for proper installation and function. Compatibility also extends to 2024+ Toyota Tacoma models.
