Designed, developed, and tested in Australia, these shocks are built to perform in harsh conditions worldwide, from extreme heat to sub-zero temperatures. They offer a significant increase in performance over standard shock absorbers, with larger bodies, bores, and improved valving to enhance vehicle handling, control, and reduce shock fade, especially when loaded.

The Dobinsons IMS 2.6″ Monotube Shocks are engineered for serious off-roaders and overlanders seeking maximum performance and durability. These shocks feature a robust 2.6″ (66mm) heavy-duty shock body and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design, ensuring consistent damping and comfort even under extreme conditions. Key features include a 2.6″ (66mm) shock body for increased oil volume and cooling efficiency, and a monotube IFP design that separates oil and gas for consistent damping. The shocks utilize a high-flow CNC-machined race piston (60mm bore) for superior performance and a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band to reduce friction and extend life. The 3mm thick DOM body tubing is honed to tight tolerances for strength, while the adjustable spring seat is crafted from T6 6061 aluminum. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia by Dobinsons' in-house engineers, these shocks are built to withstand the harshest conditions globally. They provide a significant performance increase over stock shock absorbers, which are prone to fade under load or in harsh environments. The IMS shocks feature larger bodies, larger bores, and enhanced valving performance to dramatically improve vehicle handling and control, while significantly reducing shock fade. This specific model, IMS16-60300, is a direct, bolt-on replacement designed for easy fitment. It is fully re-buildable and re-valvable, ensuring long-term serviceability.
